his dam pronounced him Ezano [Ih-Zah-Noh]
his Arabian lines descend from his ancestors
he has seen the leaves turn colour five times
his coat is singed reddish chestnut and he is untouched by nature's markings
his withers stand 15.2 hands above the earth's surface
his legs and bodice slender, his mane and tail long, and his paces unusually elegant,
he might be mistaken for a mare from afar. from closer, it is plain in his features that
he is a masculine figure, as his posture is imposing, his face broader.
he despises other stallions, especially when they get in his path to a mare. he's short-
tempered. if a mare plays hard to get, he won't break her like another would do; he'd
simply play along, try to find out how she works. he adores confusing souls, but once
he figures them out, he'll get bored and move on. he has a short attention span, and
he'll be intrigued if you can hold his attention for more than a few minutes before he
wanders away. he may be considered impolite, but it's simply his nature. he can't be
bothered with manners. life's too short for that. a tainted personality.
bred in human captivity. coming home from a show in a storm. rain pounding heavily
on the roof of the trailer. a tuck horn blares. the wall og the trailer comes crashing in
toward him. they've run into the ditch. he screams. the two-legs don't stir. they're dead.
he thrashes around in the tight space. the lock snaps and the door swings open. he gets
out of the trailer. a bolt of lightning splits a nearby tree into two halves. he runs. the
rain pelts down, stinging his eyes. his hooves beat on the ground, as faltering as his
heart's beat. the storm calms slowly but surely. he comes to a cave carved into the
side of a rockface. when dawns fingers crept upward to paint the sky to match the taints
of a fire, he crept out of the cave and grazed for a time before trotting off to find any
other life forms in the area.

he stepped quickly through the terra, his hooves picking through the debris with ease. there didn't seem to
be anyone around. where were the souls? had they all been wiped away by some unseen force? coming to a
creek, the stallion bowed his head and sipped at the transparent liquid. that's when he noticed that this wasn't
just a regular terra. the air hung thick with an unpleasant emotion. he couldn't quite place the feeling, as he'd
never been exposed to him in the realm of the two-legs. he would soon find out that this sentiment was fear.
but not yet. because at that moment, he had still never felt fear. and that would change soon. quite soon.

[horse]

A mare named Misty ran into view. Picking up the scent of another horse, she cautiously stalked over to the horse, and realizing it was a stallion, she felt herself relaxing. Gathering up her nerves she said "hi there, my name is Misty". A gust of wind blew and her silky white mane and tail fluttered in the breeze, showing her beauty. The tainted horse was taking a drink of water. Misty suddenly realized how thirsty she was and bent down and took a drink. The liquid felt cool on her white lips. She raised her head and winnied loudy.

[Enza]

he started and lifted his head at the sound of hooves. just a mare, he thought, spotting the
equine. he looked around to the other side of him. no one else around. what a pity. the unidentifiable
emotion didn't cling to this mare like it did to the rest of the terra. no, she seemed relaxed. he barely
acknowledged her presence, and forgot her name as soon as she'd spoken it. he watched her casu-
ally as she bent her head to take a drink, thoroughly uninterested. he looked away again, searching
the horizon for any other moving figure. damn, he said to himself. looks like I'm stuck with her. he
shied away quickly when her chords ripped through the air like a thousand needles piercing his ear-
drums. he glared at her.

[horse]

Lifting her head and seeing this stallion glaring at her, she whipped around and yelled "what, can't I say hi to a stallion and get a drink, some horse you are, this is not your territory". Huffing, she bent down and took a nice, slow drink, wanting to annoy this stallion a bit to show him that just because he was a stallion and she was a mare, he couldn't scare her. She pawed the ground with her left front hoof and bounced her head up and down, making her long, silky mane fly, a sight of beauty most would say.

he stared at her and blinked twice. well isn't she odd. he thought to himself. almost as tempermental
as I am. this is almost like competition. from a mare. he snorted in disgust at the thought. he watched
the fae as he weighed his next words on his tongue. show off, he accused her silently. he finally spoke.
you're accusing me of not being a horse? and you're right, this isn't my territory. but I never said it
was. and you didn't tell me you were childish. I always thought it was common courtesy to describe your
personality when you introduce yourself, no? I'm Ezano, and I'm tempermental. unpleasurable to meet
you. his last words dripped with sarcasm. he looked away again, his ears flickering. oh, how desperately
he wanted an excuse to lope away and be free of this flea of a fae.
