[ a r a m i s ] _never miss a WISH;;
Aramis flicked his pitch black whipcord. He was bored, and wanted a friend. His boredness and tiredness had become uncontrollable since he had got here, which hadn't been long. Aramis hadn't met anyone yet that could be considered a friend, or foe. There were probably more mares around somewhere.
Aramis dipped his dial down, munching on some new found grass. He loved the scent and the delicious taste. How could he not? It quenched his hunger and some of his thirst, and it didn't taste awful. Aramis stared up at the clouds, that were streamed through a bright blue sky in big puffs. He had realized again how bored he was. Thinking about the taste of grass and looking at clouds, yes, he knew he needed to find something to do, anything. A run would help and clear his mind, if only he had someone to actually run with.
He started to gallop, his sides heaving and sweating as he did so. Just a friend just a friend that he needed to find.

e n z .c a l l s . t h i s . t h r e a dPlease. =) I have a plot for one of my characters, and your character seems to be perfect for the part. In my character's history, it says she was simply going to create herself a new [life]. she left clues, yes. clues that led right to the stag she hated most in the herd, the one who'd hurt the most femmes. the clues were fake, of course. she hadn't been stolen. she'd run away.Well, I want this stallion to come after her, seeking revenge. I've already found someone to play that part, but I want Aza to have a guy-friend before the evil one pops up. [see Azalea's profile]Yes? If not, I'll delete this post & let someone reply normally to it.

Yes, I will definitely do that.
Thank you.
I'm extremely excited now. So, Aramis is essentially her friend, so to speak? Just clarifying that.
Oh, and he hasn't been accepted yet. [whoops on my part] I forgot and just posted this anyways, which I am sorry about but I felt like I had to post something, you know? He he.
So sorry about that. When he's accepted I will RP with you, fellow Canadian.

No, thank you. And I'm excited too. Yes, Aramis is her friend. He may fight for her as a mare, if you wish. Or simply to keep her alive. I accepted him for you, with my super-administration-powerliness. xD Und yes, we shall RP, eh? =) Ohh, & psst. Don't delete your previous message. Extra post count. [[thumbsup]] --Post Starts Now-- [ p i c t u r e c o m i n g ]her dam pronounced her Azalea [Ah-Zah-Lee-Ah]
her Arabian lines descend from her ancestors
she has seen the leaves turn colour three times
her pelt was once the palest of greys, though age has flecked it with darker areas
her withers stand 15 hands above the earth's surface
her legs and bodice slender though slightly malproportioned, her mane and tail bil- lowing awkwardly in the wind as though they aren't sure where to go, her paces not clumsy though not considered elegant, she isn't simply ordinary, she's beautiful, in her own way.
she's terrified of stallions. she loves them from afar, but never lets them become close enough to touch her. she doesn't trust anyone very easily. once you've gotten to the other side of protective wall she'd put around herself in her foalhood, you'll see that she's quite playful, and has a sense of humour. break her heart, and she'll break yours.you can mark her words on that. unpure personality, though not leaden with malevolence.
she was tired of it. tired of everything. tired of hearing her fellow mares screaming. tired of having to sleep with one eye open. tired of having to constantly watch her back.tired of having to put up with stallions that simply wanted to hear a fae scream, that wanted nothing to do with the foal that they would create by force. tired of her life. and no, she wasn't going to take her own existance. she was simply going to create herself a new one. she left clues, yes. clues that led right to the stag she hated most in theherd, the one who'd hurt the most femmes. the clues were fake, of course. she hadn'tbeen stolen. she'd run away. beaten but not broken. she simply up & left.
she wandered aimlessly, simply trying to put distance between her and her former herd. was there anyone around? anyone at all? the territory seemed to be deserted. she closed one opal and pictured a tumbleweed blowing across the grass. she opened both her eyes and smiled at her childish imagining. she continued to trot along, still unsure of where she was going, or when she would know that she had gotten to her destination. something told her that her hooves were never meant to touch this soil. there was something strangely masculine about the land. she shrugged. silly superstitions. she stopped short. hooves? yes. a gallop, if she was not mistaken; if she hadn't completely lost her instincts after so many suns without equine contact. she swiveled her head, searching for the direction in which the hoofbeats came from. she spotted the figure, moving quickly along. lifting her nares to the sky, she inhaled. stallion. she inhaled again. pure. she dropped her head and stood still. she wasn't scared, she simply wanted to see if her would notice her. and what he would do when he did. Aramis tossed his charcol dial as he ran at a fast pace. He could sense that another equine was here also, a female. A female that shouldn't be. This was a stallion land, though it didn't matter to him if she was here or not, whoever she was.
He searched over the horizon for her. Spotted. She was a beautiful grey, probably searching for a friend or mate also. Well, he could do the friend thing but maybe not the mate, at least not yet. He wasn't prepared for that adoration. He sniffed the air, then rising to his feet galloped over to the femmora.
He wondered why she was here, but thought better than to ask. He would introduce himself, and hopefully not stumble through uttering sounds out of his maw. He swallowed his pride, not nervous at all. Well, maybe a bit. Hello. he calmly spoke to the beautiful femme. I am Aramis, may I know your name? he asked, still not knowing why she was here in the first place. His dial then swiveled back to the horizon, as he waited for her to answer. She probably had a pretty name, as she was so. Then Aramis looked at her once again, his orbs a searching pool of brown. Searching for a friend, and he might have found one.

he noticed her after another few of his quick paces. she smiled. he approached at a gallop. she tensed. another stallion? would he be like all the others she had known throughout her foalhood? she took a single step backward, simply to show that she wasn't interested in getting too close to him. he stopped ahead of her. perhaps just a little too close. she narrowed her eyes almost im- perceptibly. vibes. she could feel that she had not right to be here. definitely a masculine territory. she shifted her weight, anticipating a departure, and opened her maw to apologize. but his vocals pierced her audits before any sound could escape her. hello. the single word resounded in her mind. such a simple word. was there a hidden mean- ing to the way he spoke it? Aramis. she repeated the name silently, lips closing around the three syllables. yes, it was a name that she liked. a name that she could get used to. a question. she didn't quite hear it. she's been repeating his name to herself. his voice lifted on the last syllable. most definitely a question. name. the only word she'd caught. he wanted to know her name? the males she'd lived with wouldn't have cared. was he really different, or was it simply an act? no. he was a pure. or at least, so she thought. Even so, she threw him a suspicious glance before answering. Azalea. three syllables. again. But call me Lea, she added quickly, wanting to fill the silence. the comment just sounded awkward. she regretted it already. oh, why couldn't she ever know when to shut up? why did she always feel the need to elaborate, to fill the silence? no matter. the stallion spoke again.

Aramis inhaled deeply, in awe by this mare's beauty. As his thoughts were collected, he heard her name. Azalea. It suited her perfectly. He shook his head, he was beginning to sound like some love struck stallion. Yes, she was beautiful. And he had to live with that. This could be his one real friend for now, he had to calm himself down. He wasn't interested in a mate, not now. He had too many things on his mind. Well, not really.. he just didn't want more pressure added to his life. As if he had any..
He kept repeating her name over and over again, a new name that he had never heard before. He liked it. But it seemed stupid to be repeating it in his head. Though, maybe she was doing the same thing. Azalea. Azalea. Azalea.
He heard he last comment briefly, catching the subtle word Lea. Hmm. Maybe that was a nickname she wanted to be called, that she was used to. He should of listened closer. Azalea.. er, Lea. Um, welcome. God, what was he saying. Aramis wasn't even lead of this herd! No one was because it was a place for homeless stallions like him to go, he didn't own it! He swallowed, why was he so nervous? It was just a mare, he had seen tons before. I mean, I'm not lead of this place or anything. he stuttered. Should you really be here though, this is a stallion's land, some stags in here could go berserk. He questioned her, still wondering why she had came. She could have been looking for adventure, which he didn't mind, he did that frequently.
What I mean is, There are no stallions here, just me. Sorry. Just didn't want you to be in danger. He said softly and calmly. This time sounding like a total moron. He just had to talk of course. At least break the silence and the tension.
Sorry.. he said. For acting werid..

welcome. she parted her maw to thank him, but words kept tumbling from his lips. you shouldn't really be here, though. he took back his welcome. why had he even bothered in the first place? this is a stallion's land. of course. she'd been right. a masculine territory. what I mean is, there are no stallions here, just me. sorry. just didn't want you to be in danger. how had she been supposed to understand that message from what he'd actually said? how could he be worried about her being in danger when the two of them were the only ones around? unless he was suggesting that he himself was a danger to her? he made no sense. an apology. she didn't catch the last three words. were they important, anyhow? she scrutinized him, then decided that it was best she left. she had no way of knowing his intentions. she spoke as she shifted her weight. I best be going. you said so yourself. I'm not supposed to be here. she backed up a few steps, not about to simply turn around and carelessly expose her backside. that would simply be foolish.

Aramis dropped his dial feverishly, feeling stupid for his actions and words. He could have just kept his maw shut, but oh no that couldn't happen. He was just trying to be friendly to Azalea, but what he was saying wasn't making any sense or working for that matter. Aramis shuddered at the breeze, his hair standing up on end on his back. This all seemed like a strange dream to him.
He heard her speak. She was going to leave. He wondered why, probably because of him. But it was pretty soon to just get up and leave. Oh well. She had no reason to be here. Or did she? He didn't mind her being here, he liked the company. If only he hadn't spoken. Uttered confusing and unlogical words from his maw. He turned back to the mare, speaking softly.
Wait. You can stay if you want to. There is no one else here, at least not that I know of for I can see. he looked straight ahead, careful not to make his mind wander. There was nothing else he could say now. He only wished that he could travel back in time and erase those words from his memory. He could not, it had already been done.
He shifted from side to side, waiting for his answer. She could leave or not, it was her choice. He could make her stay though.

she stopped moving backward, a fore hoof and the opposing back pillar in suspension. he looked honest in that one moment. so innocent. she closed her eyes. why didn't she ever think before spoke? she'd hurt so many equines with her carelessness. Aramis seemed lonely. how could she be so blind to his pain? how could she be so ready to leave him to his own company again? it wasn't fair to him. he probably thought that it was his fault that she was leaving. how could she explain to a stallion her fear of his particular gender? how could she explain to a perfect stranger what a foal hood of abuse had done to her? o- kay, so she could think of a few ways to put it into words. but he hadn't grown up in the same way she had. had he? no matter, he wouldn't be terrified of mares if it were the case. he couldn't understand. she was reserved anyhow. she wasn't the type to spill her life sto- ry to an equine she had just met. if she could, it would be too much to ask of him. he would constantly have to watch his words, his actions. anything that anyone did could set off a flashback for her. no, it was to heavy a burden for one soul to carry. but how would she explain that her departure was for the benefit of them both? without, that is, making it sound like an excuse to leave? his vocals brought her out of her state of mind. she looked around. he was right. there wasn't anyone else around. she sighed. there didn't seem to be much harm in staying. no one would attack her for be- ing somewhere she wasn't supposed to be. and if an equine from her former herd came af- ter her, they definitely wouldn't expect to find her on a masculine territory. staying defin- itely seemed to be in her benefit, if not in that of Aramis. she was a moderately selfish creature. her successful hiding meant more to her than his discomfort. I'll stay. two simple words. well, three, if you want to be technical about it. simple words that would change her life drastically, like every decision does, big or small.

[ a r a m i s ]_never miss a WISH;; Aramis nearly jumped up and down and started screaming at her words. Nearly. He wouldn't actually do that, too suspicious and strange for anyone to hear a stag be that excited. He was happy though that she was staying for now. He had changed her mind somehow, she might have also not just because of him. He had wanted her to stay, and now she was going to. There was no one else around here, so they wouldn't be caught anyways. He would protect her if anyone ever came, which he highly doubted. The place looked barren, most stallions were part of a herd. He did like the thought of being in a herd, but it wasn't for him yet. He wanted to take time to mindlessly wander about. Doing so, he had met Azalea. They could become friends. Or maybe they already were? Aramis sighed, merely just acquaintances right now. Aramis stood proudly and modestly. He could feel his hooves beneath the barren grassland. He reached down to graze, hunger washing over him like a tide coming to shore once again. He was also very thirsty, and wondered if there was any river or water source around. He glanced at Azalea, then remembered that she wouldn't know either. He dropped his head back down to the ground again to graze once more. He could quench his thirst later. Aramis then stood farther away from Azalea wondering what to say next. Who would speak first? He had no idea what to say. It was if his maw had already been closed tightly and his throat was too dry to utter a word. It was like his tongue was in knots, or his heart, he couldn't tell which. All he knew was that he had no clue what to say to his new acquaintance. word count; 308.
